We're finally back in Japan! From October 27th to November 6th, we'll be in Niigata for the new selection of two-year-old and older Koi . Follow the journey live here, and if you're dreaming of a particular variety, contact us: we'll do our best to make your dream come true.

First day in Niigata: as exciting as the first time. After several visits (Shinoda, Hiroi, Hiwashita, Yagengi...), a small, unknown kennel surprises us with a Shiro Utsuri that's not to be missed.

A rainy morning brightened at Nagashima with two splendid Koi: a Showa (Dainichi line) and a Sanke with an explosive body. A long negotiation, but a victory!

A sunny day: exciting Ikeage in Izuro and selections from Hoshikin (Showa & Kohaku) and Suda (Butterfly box). Here's the loot:

Busy day: from Kaneko (Tancho Kohaku & Ochiba), Yagenji (Kikosui & Karashigoi) and finally Takahashi for a box of splendid Gosanke Doitsu.

Morning at Sakazume (two stalls with incredible quality/price ratio) then stop at Otsuka where we buy an irresistible Asagi and Beni Aigoromo .

Rain and show: harvest of 75-90 cm Koi, then at Marushin for the very rare Tamasaba and finally Yamazaki where we selected 12 35 cm jewels and two Asagi sansai.

Last rain and last purchases: top-quality boxes from Otsuka , then a "lucky auction" from Odakan . Selection complete, now a bit of Japan to enjoy. See you in 2023!
